The Truth about Paid CDL Training
If
you are looking for paid cdl training
there are several things you need
to consider before you run out and sign on the dotted line. Paid cdl
training is training provided by a trucking
company
in exchange for a commitment to work
for that trucking company for a
period of time. The trucking company will provide paid cdl training at
no cost to you as long as you fulfill this obligation.
You
will be required to sign a contract,

similar in the fact they will reimburse you for the money you spent for
your cdl training, usually over the course of one year of employment.
It
is almost the same as company paid cdl training
in this respect.
The
difference here is private schools make money from training students
to get their cdl. Without students
they don’t make money, so they will
be more likely to get you your cdl without letting you go. If you
choose this route just make sure it is a large cdl training school with
several large trucking companies using the cdl school as a hiring pool.
Paying
for your own cdl training gives you the freedom to work where you want
to. This way you can avoid any long term contracts with bad trucking
companies. Very few Truck
Driver Training Schools
are able to finance students any
